Click2.ai

Click2.ai is an AI tool that helps professionals create personalized social content and interactions across platforms such as LinkedIn, X and Facebook.

In a 3-week sprint, I led the redesign of the core experience, making it easier for users to choose a tone, preview AI-generated writing and create content that felt more personal.

Process

Understanding why AI content felt impersonal

Through interviews, diary studies, heuristic evaluation, and usability testing, we identified a key trust gap: users were open to AI support, but struggled when content felt generic, navigation was unclear, and feedback was missing.

Designing for control and confidence

I translated these findings into a clearer content-creation flow. I redesigned the character selection experience so users could choose a tone, preview AI-generated writing, and better understand how the product would shape their voice.

Reducing friction in key moments

I recommended clearer system feedback, autosave, error recovery, and direct access to configuration settings. These changes made the experience easier to understand from tone selection to creating content for LinkedIn.

Key design decision

Users needed to understand how each AI tone would change their writing before trusting it. I redesigned the character selection flow to make tone, sample text, and previews visible in one place.

Outcome

Designed for trust in AI writing

I handed off a redesign built to do one thing: help people trust AI writing before they used it. Tone selection, sample text, and previews were brought into one place, so users could see how each voice would shape their words before they commit.

The flow was designed to cut the friction we saw in research, unclear navigation, missing feedback, no way to preview. The goal was a tool people felt in control of, not one that wrote for them in a voice they did not choose.
